I’ve not done anything all day

Boring

Today would literally go in the books as one of the most boring days in history. I was exhausted after my weekend at Allume- emotionally, physically and spiritually. And I was peopled out. I slept until almost 10:30 and didn’t put on clothes until after lunch when I knew my family would be coming home from church and lunch, and would be surprised if I was still in my jammies. Well, maybe they wouldn’t have been surprised.

I read.

I wrote.

I studied.

I took a long walk with my daughter and a best friend and our family of large dogs.

I unpacked my suitcase and went through my enormous swag bag from the conference. So many goodies!

I fixed an appetizer dinner for my girls- crackers, cheese, apples, bananas, carrots, and hummus with crackers. We watched “Nashville” from last week. I didn’t think about all the things that need doing. They were in the back of mind, for sure, but I was able to push them away.

Tomorrow I’ll jump back in and deal with all the things. Tonight I’m just relaxing in the real life of family and friends and the glorious memories of the weekend.
